Mr. Yohanna Rabo Barde, CNA, FITM, is a distinguished Accountant and a Chartered Treasury Manager with over 25 years of experience in accounting, treasury management, financial administration, investment, and strategic financial leadership. A committed Christian, Mr. Rabo believes firmly in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He is a Nigerian from Warsa Piti in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State. He is married and currently resides in Jos, Plateau State. Mr. Rabo has undertaken extensive academic and professional training in Accounting, Treasury Management, Financial Management, and Information Technology, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Studies from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, in addition to other qualifications in Accountancy and Information Technology. Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Treasury Management (CITM) and a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). His commitment to continuous professional development is further demonstrated by his participation in various training programmes organised by ECWA and relevant professional bodies. These academic and professional experiences have equipped him with strong competencies in financial governance, treasury and financial management, information systems, accountability, systems development, and organisational management. Throughout his career with Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Mr. Rabo has served in several strategic capacities, including being a Teacher/Instructor, Bursar, Investment Officer, Head of Finance, Principal Accountant, Chief Accountant, and currently ECWA Director of Finance. In these positions, he has provided leadership in financial administration, policy implementation, investment oversight, financial reporting, capacity development, and strategic financial management. A creative, innovative, and highly analytical professional, Mr. Rabo has demonstrated particular expertise in designing and implementing accounting systems, strengthening financial controls, improving financial accountability, and facilitating financial management training. Beyond ECWA, he has provided professional services and training to several corporate organisations, Cooperative Societies and individuals. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Rabo has contributed extensively to institutional governance. He has served on more than 20 ECWA Boards and Committees, undertaking diverse assignments and providing financial and strategic expertise. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of ECWA Strategic Business Units and other institutions and departments within ECWA. Mr. Rabo is recognised for his integrity, diligence, professionalism, financial acumen, leadership ability, and commitment to accountability. His career reflects a consistent dedication to using financial expertise to strengthen institutions, promote sound governance, and support the achievement of organisational goals and strategic mandates. A man who loves the Lord, loves music, Football and teaching, Mr. Yohanna Rabo Barde continues to distinguish himself through a rare combination of professional excellence, Christian commitment, leadership, and service. He speaks, Ibisi (Piti), Hausa, Irigwe and English languages.
